About the Role

Trilogy India is seeking a hands-on Senior / Lead Full-Stack AI Engineer to help lead the development of a next-generation logistics and AI platform for Trilogy NextGen.

This is a technical leadership role for someone who can move comfortably between architecture and implementation. You will help define system architecture, build critical product components, guide engineering standards, and lead the integration of AI into real-world logistics applications.

The role combines full-stack engineering, enterprise integration, AI architecture, logistics systems, and technical leadership.

What You Will Do

• Lead end-to-end architecture and development of logistics, inventory, automation, and AI products.
• Design scalable full-stack architectures using technologies such as React, Node.js, Python, and modern cloud platforms.
• Architect and develop APIs and integration services.
• Integrate with WMS, MES, YMS, ERP, robotics, and other enterprise systems.
• Design and implement AI-native features using LLMs and machine-learning services.
• Architect Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and knowledge-retrieval solutions.
• Design AI agents and automated workflows for logistics and supply-chain use cases.
• Integrate vision AI for inventory tracking, validation, or operational workflows.
• Make architectural decisions around model selection, balancing large LLMs against smaller and faster models where appropriate.
• Design solutions for telemetry, IoT, edge computing, and real-time event processing.
• Establish coding standards, architecture patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Lead code reviews and mentor junior and mid-level developers.
• Use AI development tools as part of the normal engineering workflow.
• Collaborate directly with Trilogy NextGen US leadership on product roadmap, architecture, and priorities.
• Translate business problems into scalable technical solutions.
• Own complex technical problems from concept through production.

What We Are Looking For

• 6-10+ years of professional software-development experience.
• Strong full-stack engineering background.
• Deep experience with React and modern front-end architecture.
• Strong experience with Node.js, Python, Java, or comparable backend technologies.
• Experience designing distributed applications and enterprise integrations.
• Strong experience with APIs, databases, event-driven systems, and cloud architectures.
• Hands-on experience building AI-enabled applications.
• Understanding of LLMs, model APIs, embeddings, RAG, vector databases, and agentic workflows.
• Experience moving AI solutions beyond proof of concept into production.
• Strong understanding of application security, scalability, reliability, and observability.
• Proven technical leadership and architecture experience.
• Strong English communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and lead complex initiatives.
• Ability to collaborate closely with US-based executives, architects, product leaders, and customers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Logistics or supply-chain technology experience.
• Experience with WMS, MES, YMS, ERP, or transportation systems.
• Experience with Autonomous Mobile Robots.
• Experience integrating software with physical equipment, sensors, scanners, cameras, or other industrial systems.
• IoT and edge-computing experience.
• Experience with vision AI.
• Experience building scalable, multi-tenant B2B SaaS products.
• Experience leading small engineering teams.
• Experience taking products from 0-to-1.
